Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of this website and the apps and games published by Pickleball Warrior Academy LLC ("the Studio", "we"), and the general terms under which we take on client work. By using our software or engaging us for a project you agree to them.

Client projects

• Proposals. Every project is scoped in a written proposal that sets the deliverables, timeline, and fees. The proposal governs where it differs from these terms.
• Payment. Projects are typically billed with a deposit at the start and the balance on delivery. Invoices are due within 14 days.
• Ownership. Once paid in full, you own the final deliverables. We keep ownership of our pre-existing tools and libraries, licensed to you for use in the deliverables, and we retain the right to show the work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
• Changes. Work outside the proposal's scope is quoted separately before we start it.
• Music. Custom music is delivered as a master recording. Unless the proposal says otherwise, you receive an exclusive license to use it however you like, and we keep the underlying composition rights for credit purposes.

Apps and games

Our apps and games are provided for personal, non-commercial use under the license shown in the store where you downloaded them. Do not reverse engineer, resell, or use them to harass other players. We may update or discontinue an app at any time. Multiplayer features require a working connection and fair play; we may suspend accounts that cheat.

Website

Content on this site is ours or used with permission. You may link to it freely. Do not scrape it, republish it, or use it to train models without written permission.

Warranties

We warrant that deliverables will materially match the proposal for 30 days after delivery and will fix defects reported in that period at no charge. Beyond that, software and music are provided as is.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Studio's liability for any claim arising from a project, app, game, or this website is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, and any dispute will be resolved in the courts located in Chesterfield County, Virginia.
